Christopher Mascio, P.A.-C

Christopher Mascio served as an airborne paratrooper and Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for more than seven years. During his time in the military, he received three commendation medals and six achievement medals. After completing his tour of duty, Christopher worked as an emergency medical technician before joining The American Center for Spine and Neurosurgery in Illinois as a physician assistant in 2010.

Much of Christopher’s work as a P.A. has been in the spine and neurosurgical areas. His experience includes assisting on laminectomies, microdisectomies, fusions, kyphoplasty, tumor resections and other minimally invasive surgical spine procedures. He also has experience providing cranial surgical support on craniotomies for tumor resections, aneurysms, Chiari Malformations and more. Mascio earned his bachelor’s degree while beginning his work at North Texas Neurosurgical & Spine Center, a Texas Health Physicians Group practice, in early 2017. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
